Master Xehanort

①[BbS] He parts ways with Master Eraqus who places absolute trust in the light.

※Connects from Young Xehanort ② through growing old.

②[BbS] He creates Vanitas from the darkness of his pupil; Ventus' heart.  In order to be raised as material for forging the χ-Blade, Ventus is given to Eraqus to look after.

-Allowing Ventus to be raised by Eraqus was with the intention of allowing a heart of pure light (Ventus) clash with pure dark (Vanitus) to create the χ-Blade.  On top of this, when handing off Ventus to Eraqus, he felt the darkness within the heart of the restlessly training Terra, and decided Terra could become a new vessel.

③[BbS] He suggests to Eraqus in a letter that his pupils take their Mark of Mastery Exam and sits in on Terra and Aqua's trials.

-Although his suggestions appeared to be in good will, he actually intended for Terra to fail so that he could lead him down the path of darkness.  During this same time the Unversed born from Vanitas were causing chaos in various worlds which lead to Terra, Aqua and Ventus venturing away.

④[BbS] Intrigues Maleficent with tales of Kingdom Hearts.

-He used Maleficent in order to gather 7 pure hearts of light (Seven Princesses).  However, this plan was thwarted by Sora in KH1.

⑤[BbS] Conspires with Braig who had shown interest in the Keyblade at Radiant Garden.

⑥[BbS] Lures both Ventus and Terra to the Land of Departure.  Finishes off Eraqus who had received a great deal of damage from battling with Terra and allows the Land of Departure to be consumed by darkness.

⑦[BbS] Faces off with Terra at the Keyblade Graveyard and steals his body (becoming Terra Xehanort).

⑧[3D] He revived as whole again to be greeted by his others selves.  In attempts to make Sora the 13th vessel of darness, he tries to saturate Sora using his own darkness, but is stopped by Riku and the others; vanishing before their eyes.

※Connected from Ansem Seeker of Darkness ① & Xemnas ⑧ when Xehanort’s Heartless and Nobody are destroyed.

-Master Xehanort revives in order to achieve the goal of having the 7 Lights and 13 Darkness face off to create the χ-Blade.  However, using Sora as a vessel of darkness ended in failure leaving both the 13 Seekers of Darkness without enough members as well as a lack of members of the 7 Guardians of Light, and therefore had to return to his own place in time.
